James Lindenschmidt, General Manager of RealTraps, here again for the October Newsletter, bringing you up to date with all the goings-on in the world of RealTraps.
This was posted to the RealTraps Facebook page recently:
"Wow!!! and WOW again. I just got my MondoTraps today. The wall stands are still coming but I went ahead and just put two 4-inch MondoTraps standing on the back of the couch in the 4-foot high position and leaning against rear wall. All I can say is OH MY G_D!! what a difference just two traps make! I can't believe it the bass immediately tightened up. This is no BULL folks - I avoided bass traps for years just thinking that my foam would do the trick. Now I need to get a few more - again, thanks guy's seriously - you have a die hard customer here!!! Regards, Brad Lund"
I still say that this is the best part of my job, truly "Making the world sound better, one room at a time." Be sure to visit our Facebook page for more insider info, photographs, and other goodies.

NEW AUDIO INTERVIEW WITH ETHAN WINER
Those of you interested in acoustics and audio in general will want to listen to RealTraps co-founder Ethan Winer's latest interview at thehometheaterbook.com. In this wide-ranging interview they discussed Ethan's new book, The Audio Expert, as well as audio and acoustics theory as it applies to home theaters.
THE OCTOBER SPECIAL
For this month's special, we are blowing out TriCorners (normally $269.99 each) at $400 for a pair! TriCorners are a great companion for our Corner MondoTrap, with the same beveled edge design that lets them appear to be only one inch thick when installed. They are the ideal treatment for trihedral corners in a room, where two walls meet the ceiling or floor. From a physics point of view, these spots often exhibit the strongest bass buildup in the room, so TriCorners are a great way to help bring your low end under control. Put them above or below your existing panel bass traps in the wall/wall corners. At this price you can treat all eight tri-corners at a great price!
No substitutions are permitted on this offer. This offer is good until October 31, 2012.
See you next month!
