DOWNLOAD THE REALTRAPS TEST TONE CD FILTERED NOISE HELPS PLACE BASS TRAPS FLUTTER ECHO TO DISTANCE CHART VIRTUAL MINIRATOR: The kind folks at NT Instruments have let us offer you the Virtual Minirator. This is a software version of their excellent Minirator MR1 hardware, and it plays a variety of continuous test signals through your computer's sound card. You can use it to play low frequency sine waves and walk around the room as described above. Click the photo at left to download the program. We love the Virtual Minirator because it's so useful for identifying low frequency problems. After you download the program simply run it - no installation is needed. Then follow the on-screen instructions to turn on the power, insert the audio cable, and select various low frequency sine waves to play through your speakers.
